COURSE CURRICULUM

This integrated self-paced module has been developed by the National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Control Programme (NTBLCP) of Nigeria, with support from the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), to strengthen the capacity of healthcare workers involved in tuberculosis prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and patient support across the country. The course provides practical, up-to-date guidance on community TB care and the management of drug-resistant tuberculosis, including early identification of presumptive cases, diagnostic processes, treatment administration, adherence support, monitoring, management of adverse drug reactions, and documentation. Designed for community health workers, facility-based providers, clinicians, and program managers, this module equips participants with the knowledge and skills required to deliver high-quality, patient-centered TB services and contribute effectively to Nigeria’s national efforts to end tuberculosis.
